  • This kitchen is ingenious, visionary, even magical. Designed by architect Dovide Secter, it’s the centerpiece of a residence that functions not only as a living space but also a show home and office. There are many features to minimize clutter while maintaining maximum functionality.

  • The spectacular setting of this Colorado mountain home called for a special new kitchen plan, one that would create harmony between inside and out. Denver designer Mikal Otten rose to the challenge with an ingenious, free-flowing floor plan.

  • A building only 16 feet wide? That was only the most obvious challenge for William Suk and Bryan Eure, as they began designing a kitchen for a 135-year-old townhouse in Chelsea. There were no “before” photos, because there was no kitchen–this kitchen project was part of an entire building renovation.

  • Often the kitchen is designed to be the focal point of the home. For this boathouse on a large lake near Toronto, the homeowners wanted a design that would integrate into the rest of the home, but not overwhelm it. Designed by Steven Comisso and Mary Ellen Lynch.

  • The homeowners wanted their second home to function as a place to host visiting family, friends, and even chefs. This central living area and two side-by-side kitchens easily accommodate the preparing of meals and seating for more than 20 guests. Designed by Courtney Ziething.
