Cadillac’s Driven by Design: Los Angeles November 2015

The final stop on the Driven by Design architectural tour, presented by Cadillac, stopped in Los Angeles. The tour began with a keynote address from James O’Reilly, founding partner of NeueHouse. Guests were then chauffeured in a fleet of Cadillacs to the following places:

NeueHouse Hollywood: NeueHouse, the world’s first private work collective, is a home for creative entrepreneurs and their teams of up to 15 that combines culture with commerce, and is powered by hospitality. NeueHouse has made the historic CBS Radio Building on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood its first West Coast location. The landmark site was home to many artistic and technical innovations of the entertainment industry, and thus, as NeueHouse Hollywood, its legacy will continue as an arena for pioneering creatives making truly imaginative work.

Collingwood Residence, designed by Landry Design Group: Sitting high above the famed Sunset strip, this playful modern home uses a series of sweeping arcs to capture the dramatic views—from the ocean to downtown to the canyons beyond. Guests were treated to a special tour led by architect William Mungall.

Hancock Park Estate: Located in Los Angeles’ historic Hancock Park, this 1920s English-style brick manor by prominent architect Henry Withey carries an elegant, yet bold interior design. Four bedrooms with more than 5,000 square feet of living space each with views of original manicured grounds, a carriage house, and brick laid pathways maintain the home’s English formality.
