What is your mission in terms of customer service?

Custom Made Simple®. No matter what, we make sure that our customers love their purchase and enjoy how easy the process was along the way, from their conversations with a Design Consultant to their experience with our Measure and Install Team.

Your customer service is above reproach. Why do you think this is? 

We do whatever it takes to make a customer happy. Our team is 100% customer focused. We stay   in-tune to customer needs and constantly strive towards improving the consumer shopping experience from every angle.

The Shade Store makes it so easy to decide on the best custom shades, blinds, and draperies for your project. This is not only due to your varied selection and superior quality but it really comes down to customer service. It starts with your design consultants and how they are on call. Please comment on how many showrooms you have with design consultants, as well as other ways to connect? 

We have 63 showrooms nationwide (and growing). Each showroom is staffed with professional design consultants eager to assist with all of your window treatment needs. For customers who are unable to stop by a showroom, we provide an excellent online shopping experience or they can call our 800 number to connect with a Design Consultant over the phone.

So much of design research is done online these days. How does The Shade Store help in that process?

We make it easy for online customers to see what our materials look like via our complimentary swatching program. There is no limit to how many swatches you can request. It’s a great way to see how the material looks against your décor or in natural lighting.  You can also browse our catalog for design inspiration or submit a picture of your window to our free rendering service to see how a product will look before install.
